12kN Auto Locking Carabiner
ONE HAND USE
2-Way Auto Locking: a simple barrel twist and push against the spring load will open, automatically re-locking when you release the pressure.
PRODUCT DETAILS
Has a closed gate strength rating of 12kN (2,698lbs) and a minor axis open gate strength of 8kN. The strength and lightweight performance are from its AL7075.
SMOOTH FINISHED SURFACE
The locking carabiner has smooth contact surfaces for better glide of attached items. The curved shape and form will prevent blisters and scratching while handling.
LIGHT AND SMALL
The net weight is only 31g/1.09oz, with a compact size: length 3.19"/8.1cm, Width 1.69"/4.3cm. It is easy to carry, minimising your carrying load. A Size of 3.19″ height and 1.69″, with a 0.59″ gate opening.

How long does a carabiner last for?
All FresKaro carabiners are designed to last at least ten years; with good maintenance and TLC, you can expect a great deal of life from our devices. We only use 7075 AL on our devices which are machine stamped and not molded.
So how do I maintain a carabiner, it's just a clip right?
Depending on your usage of the carabiner, use a dry waxed-based lubricant to clean the hinge area, where the spring is located. Always wash your carabiner after contact with salt water or salt air. Remove any tiny particles of grit or dirt.
These are 12kN rated it means they can use them for climbing?
A climbing carabiner, the UIAA states, must have a minimum 20kN rating. This EDC carabiner style is super strong enough to last for many applications uses that do not put you in danger.
